San Diego patients living with a serious illness are often unable to leave their home to enjoy simple tasks or pleasures like getting a new hair style or haircut. Haircuts @ Home volunteers with San Diego Hospice share their professional talents and help to make a difference in the San Diego community through their transformative work. Volunteers are needed and encouraged to apply.
It’s really very touching how caregivers think of just about EVERYTHING for their patients. Even a simple haircut can give a bed-ridden person that rare feeling of being beautiful.
